History Detectives - Grades 4-6
In the Good Ole Summer Time
What was it like to spend the summer around Chautauqua Lake in the good old days? Join us for a fun-filled week exploring local pastimes in the days of trolleys, steamboats, and Model A's. Highlights of the week include a tour of Fenton History Center's "Satan's Bowl of Death" early racing exhibit and a visit by local antique car and jalopy owners (with their cars, of course!)
History detectives will end their week at Long Point State Park. Activities include a guided tour of the park, old time games, and swimming. (Bring your suits!)
