6 Faces of WWII

The presentation will focus on six veterans who were interviewed by Gregory Peterson and Phil Zimmer through the “Defenders of Freedom” project. The “Defenders of Freedom” project was launched in 2013 and has recorded 225 interviews with local veterans. The presentation uses film interviews and archival footage to provide a vivid portrayal of the veterans’ experience. The program is open to the public and offered free of charge through sponsorship of the Robert H. Jackson Center, Fenton History Center, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, and the Chautauqua County Veterans Service Agency.
Second Saturday of Each Month

Veterans of all ages are invited to join members of the Vets Finding Vets for coffee the second Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 12 PM. 2018 dates are: February 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10, and December 8. The Fenton History Center’s research center, located at 73 Forest Avenue in Jamestown, New York in the historic Hall House, is handicap accessible. Service dogs are welcome.
